The planting of trees on the roof and other parts
of the site symbolizes the concept of human-oriented ecology that ensures
that the structure is in harmony with nature. |

The red and yellow stripes on the outside walls
represent the combustion flames and tell what is being accomplished insidethe
plant. |

Equipped with the latest exhaust gas treatment system,
harmful gas is eliminated and the dioxins content at the stack outlet is
a max. 0.1ng-TEQ/Nm3. |

Energy generated in waste incineration is converted
into steam and electricity for use not only in the plant but also outside. |

To prevent offensive odors from leaking to the outside,
waste pit air is drawn into the incinerator as combustion air, where the
high temperatures there break down odor components. |

Plant waste water is treated on-side before being
released into the public sewerage system. |

Rain water is collected, stored and used effectively
in the plant. |

Equipment is housed indoors to prevent noise from
propagating to surrounding neighborhoods. |
